Greek Black Metal duo Inhibitions likely assumed that no one would notice if they stole (or borrowed, which surely is a nicer word) bits and pieces from Norwegian troops Limbonic Art and Satyricon, with a hint of avant-garde sound of early Arcturus, and used for their own purpose, well, let’s say, just for fun. Well, you got caught doing so on your second opus, La Danse Macabre, dear fellows. The only looooong minus is that you blokes also pretty badly failed at that attempt. I feel pity for you ... or, wait! Perhaps not. Overall, this is all about mimicking well-known Black Metal troops, and mimicking them horribly. They also have this occasional, yet annoying keyboard sound totally out of place, not really cutting enough flesh to really hurt anyone. That’s it. No sorries, no regrets, no apologies... I am done with this. Just avoid! |
