It’s no secret that Poland is known as a country that is constantly producing many quality Metal bands, especially its absolutely talented Death Metal bands.
Poland’s Thrash Metal scene is a different success story. Immense Decay, a trio that started out in 2005 as Sudden Death, has released three albums. The latest one is called Combat Thrash, containing 9 songs. Even though they do know the basics of what it takes to thrash, they lack the required power and aggression and, unfortunately, they have a pretty one-dimensional approach to their music. Slayer and early Vader are obvious influences in their songwriting. Combat Thrash is an unfortunately dull and uninspiring , tasting like a cold cup of watered-down coffee. Sorry, guys. |
