Hammers up in the air, and let's keep raging on... Polish Black/Thrash horde Ragehammer, formed in 2012, released their debut five-song EP in 2012 in a limited run of 200 hand-numbered CD-R copies, which sold out a long time ago. Now it's been reissued, this time on Polish extreme Metal music label Mythrone Promotion. The musical recipe here is pretty much what you'd expect: early Bathory, early Venom, Desaster and Deströyer 666, are some of those names that tend to pop up when spinning this disc over and over again. The band's vicious, very energetic, primitive and ravenously thrashing, often punk-fueled song arrangements work well, and they are just good fun to listen to. This foursome simply loves their doing Black/Thrash thing so much that it's unnecessary for them to even try to sound original. Got it? Well, good then... Solid blackened Thrash Metal played with the right attitude. There you go. |
