This is a compilation of the first two demos put out by Detroit band Demon Bitch, who hide some pretty damned good metal behind a stupid name and terrible artwork. I was not expecting much out of this from the look of it, but this is a pretty solid slice of steel. Obviously recorded on a budget, it reminds me quite a lot of Twisted Tower Dire back in their demo days, as the density and complexity of the songwriting is quite high. Vocalist "Logon" has a strong voice, but a rather strange tone, and I can't tell if his eccentric performance is the result of a cheap recording job, or just the way he means to sound. He's got energy, and the sound of the whole disc is energetic, reeking with classic metal riffs. If you are into Cauldron Born in their early days or underground stuff like Wastoid, then this is definitely a band to check out.
