Sin Piedad (Without Mercy in English) is the third album from Spain's Wild and it is a roaring, ass-kicking collection of heavy metal. The formula of two guitars, bass and drums is employed to perfection and crunchy riffs just roll out of the speakers one after another. The singer has a powerful, clear voice and great range to go along with a lot of charisma and he really sells the choruses. The songwriting is consistently excellent and even non-Spanish singers will be shouting along with "Accoralado" and "Vuela Alto" in short order. Wild play fast but know when to dial it back so as not to abuse the double-kick drums. If awesome heavy metal in the mold of Thundersteel or Painkiller lights your fire, you need Sin Piedad.
