Some cool death metal from Australia here. Corpse Stomper doesn't break any new ground but it's a pretty solid and enjoyable album through and through. Nothing muddy here: it's sharp, tight, fast and accompanied with some good growls that are sometimes decipherable without sounding watered down or anything. There are a lot of fun, somewhat memorable moments where they play it machine-gun style with a bit of a catchy vibe and it just begs for repeat plays. I can really see some serious pits forming at live shows with this stuff. |
