Wow. It's almost a waste of natural resources to release something like this on physical media, with it clocking at less than six minutes. Alright, I've made my green comment. ;) Too Fast for the Flames is a 7" that contains only the title track on one side and a cover of W.A.S.P.'s "Show No Mercy" on side B. It sure goes by very quickly—too quickly—especially considering the title track is only 2:48 long. But at least it kicks some serious ass in the little time it is allotted.

The band's black/thrash is sometimes categorized as black/speed metal and I can see that on the title track as it's kind of borderline. It's unrelentingly fast and rather raw and basic with a strong old-school vibe, which gives it a hell of a punch and the only bad thing about it is that it's so short. I could certainly do with an album full of this stuff. The cover of "Show No Mercy" is pretty cool, giving the song a new, rawer and more extreme life while still being recognizable. Cool stuff.
