Short but sweet, this first EP from Infernarium is a good introduction in what was to come was their debut album. A nice mix of hellish, doom-and-gloom, crushing black metal, high-octane fast playing and haunting vocals. The title track has a few interludes here and there that I find break the pace a little, to disputable effect. It's raw and cold and even the "prettiest," most melodic passages will chill you to the bone. |
