Good things come in small packages or, in this case, evil things. Decoherence is an elusive UK band that plays mindfucking, evil-sounding, out-of-the-depths-of-hell black metal. This little slab of vinyl may be short at just under 10 minutes, but it sure fills these short minutes. Pedal-to-the-metal dark black metal from beginning to end, you'll be hard-pressed to find a split second of time to breathe on this. The vocals are just "floating" over the music and making the whole thing so much more evil and really propping up the insanely dark atmosphere. I wish I had a full album of the stuff, but then again I don't know what mental state I'd be in after listening to it. Recommended if you like the occasional journey through hell. |
