Opprobrium has been kicking major ass since the early 2000s and The Fallen Entities is their sixth full-length, which follows the killer Serpent Temptation (2016). While not as inspired and impactful as its predecessor, the album showcases the Howard brothers' ability to effortlessly write marvelous, brutal riffs and extremely potent tracks. Skull-crushing hammers such as "Creations That Affect", "Throughout the Centuries" and "Turmoil Under the Sun" are perfect examples of Moyses and Francis' raw power and pure desire to just wreck everything in their path by means of music. This is 41 minutes of a non-stop, no-frills piece of genuine 80s death/thrash done right, tailor-made for fans of Master, Cancer and—of course—Incubus. Cheers to the Howard brothers for retaining the heydays of their musical prowess by keeping the Incubus flame burning hot as hell itself. |
