I've been listening to these Icelandic black metallers for several days now and this album is quite addictive. Their brand of black metal is very doomy, emotional, melodic and the vocals sound desperate and tortured. This is all wrapped in somewhat raw and basic black metal, but not overly so, and the end result is music that'll mess up with your mind. This is not your run-of-the-mill violent black metal; Ormagna put the emphasis on atmosphere, emotion and melody, and they do it very well.
