The songs on Winterider touch all the power metal tropes like double-kick drums, high-pitched, catchy choruses, interwoven guitar and keyboard melodies, etc. None of the songs does anything you expect from this genre at a high level or in a new way, so it is safe but generic. For fans of Sonata Arctica, Celesty, Excalion, etc. Just don’t expect anything you haven’t heard a multitude of times before.
