Inhuman Nature are a five-piece from London whose self-titled debut sounds like the unholy union of Slayer's Show No Mercy and Power Trip's self-titled debut. I could end the review with that description, if we're being honest. As an exercise in evil, menacing, straightforward Crossover Thrash with stripped-down arrangements, snarling attitude, and angst-filled head bashing, this is a great way to spend nearly half an hour. There's nothing revolutionary about this, and I doubt this band will ever become a major player in the scene, but when you kick this much ass, who says they need to? They keep it simple and violent, and for a simpleton like myself, that's more than good enough. |
