Yet another proof that good things come in small packages, Finland's Blooming Carrions take no prisoners with their blitzkrieg invasion of raw and primitive death metal. There's a bit of a blackened vibe here mostly due to the malevolent, nightmarish atmosphere that can be felt throughout and the vocals borrow from that genre as well. This is so raw that it almost sounds like there's some static in there and that just adds to the punishment. Fast, vicious, raw and atmospheric. Good combination. |
