This is a decent split of brutal death metal, but not much more. The vocals get old quick, especially the pig squeals, but they're not really any worse than what is often associated with the subgenre. I like that we get a pretty balanced mix of fast and slow, heavy songs so that this doesn't end up being just a uniform wall of sound. The two bands are quite similar and borderline interchangeable, so I can't say that one "wins" on this split (not that we need a winner, mind you). It's decent, boilerplate brutal death metal that holds no surprise. It's good while it's on and, with such a short length, it's really good if you need a quick fix of brutal death, but it doesn't leave much of a lasting impression, though some of the songs here would probably tear down a venue in a live setting.
