MurderWorker are a Spanish Death Metal act who play like they come from early '90s Sweden. On this short little EP, No Divine Signs, they serve a handful of songs that sound like a mix of Dismember and Carnage with bits of Bolt Thrower and even early Autopsy in for godless measure, all combined to remind us of a time when the genre was just starting to come into its own. I'd say more, but it's too short and orthodox to say much more about. Seems to me this was released more to keep their name out there than anything else, but if you treasure albums like The Ending Quest and Like an Everflowing Stream, then this will show you that, while they have no real surprises to offer, MurderWorker is a name worth keeping. |
