This is one of those largely one-man bands that has been incredibly productive, cranking out 15 full-length albums, 6 EPs, 9 Splits, and 5 compilations in just under 9 years. This is Black Metal with a heavy emphasis on mood and melody, similar to bands like Falkenbach or a much more mellow Moonsorrow. With five songs and a 45-minute run time, you know this is going to have long, epic songs, and it does. I have to say this band is not breaking any kind of new ground, and not doing what they do quite so well as their obvious influences, but this is a solid album. |
