I'm usually not too fond of Spanish-sung vocals in metal but like everything, there are exceptions. Wild is one of them. These guys sure know how to rock the house with some catchy, upbeat, crunchy and fast heavy metal that borrows a little bit from circa-2000 melodic power metal and I'm also reminded of some of Aria's (Russia) '80s output at times. The singer knows how to lead those powerful songs to your ears and make them stick there. Sin Piedad is largely melodic and accessible but will nonetheless appeal to just about any fan of classic heavy metal and modern power metal. |
