So, Power Trip apparently dropped this unannounced on several digital platforms on June 11th, much to the delight of their fans. I guess they felt this was a good idea seeing as fans won't be able to enjoy live performances for a while. Whatever their reason, I'm glad they did this because this is a cool album.

In the studio, Power Trip offer some brutal, raw and energetic thrash and this live album proves that the bands can deliver the goods without the help of any studio gimmicks. There's just the right amount of the singer chatting up the crowd and crowd noises and it's mixed just right so you can almost feel that you're there with them. What makes the album so much fun is that they cranked the attitude up to 11 and the songs are played fast and raw—you just gotta love that guitar sound and the harsh vocals add a violent vibe that makes this just a great listen. After listening to this, I can tell you that if we ever get rid of that Covid-19 crap and the band comes close enough to me, I sure as hell am going to be in attendance, with an appointment shortly after to treat my neck for extreme headbanging. Roar.
