This is some pretty decent melodic heavy metal heavily influenced by early-80s heavy metal, especially Iron Maiden. There's really nothing special about the album, and the vocals can get a little cringy when the singer goes for something he can't handle, but it it's good melodic old-school metal that sometimes goes into more speed/power metal territory. This is not one bit original, but the whole album is bound to get the foot tapping, the air guitar going, and occasionally the fist in the air. There really isn't much to say about this: If you like '80s heavy metal and don't mind the vocals going astray here and there, then Mankind Resistance will make you feel like you travelled back in time. |
