This is a relatively new power metal band out of Germany whose main point of interest—from listening to this album anyway—is that the singer has kind of a Bruce Dickinson thing going. He's not quite there, though, struggling on the higher notes but he's not horrible either. So you have soaring, powerful vocals over what amounts to good, but rather generic power metal that has been done many times before. There isn't much to say about this. It's not great, it's not bad and I never felt the urge to hit stop, but once the album is over there isn't much to remember. I get the feeling that these guys can do better, but for now they just get lost in a crowded genre. |
