Two thoughts came to mind when I first listen to this album: 1) this is not very good and 2) why is this so long? Majesty of Silence play symphonic black metal that reminds me a bit of Cradle of Filth in terms of vocal weirdness and their atmosphere is also similar, but they're just not very good at it. The album sounds really unfocused and disjointed, and at over 78 minutes in length, that's a lot to take in. Even at half that it would be annoying. There are some good passages here and there that give some hope for better things, so they should really decide on what it is they want to go for and focus on that rather than throw everything in the cooking pot—some things just don't mix.
