Edgeflame are a Turkish Thrash Metal quartet that have been around since 2010 and have released four full-lengths in that time. Bludgeon the Incarnated is the latest of these, and it shows a band with potential that's held back by some weak vocals. The music is well played, the riffs aggressive and solid, and the solos are pretty decent, but then vocalist Tolga comes in with his dry, monotonous delivery that's OK at best and robs the songs of their momentum at worst. It's a shame, too, because with better vocals, I can see this band making some damn solid Thrash that'd be worthy of some real attention in the underground. As is, they remain a good band that's held back from being any better.
