Six songs in under 12 minutes, that should tell you that Puro Odio aren't into the epic. This demo, now reissued on vinyl and cassette, might be short but it packs a lot of punch. Black/thrash meets punk is probably the easiest way to describe them and the result is a very old-school vibe that reminds me of late '70s punk mixed with first-wave black/thrash—think Venom, Hellhammer and Celtic Frost. Put that in a blender and throw in the faster, more aggressive modern black/thrash style and that's roughly what you get out of this demo. It's short, it's not that different from a lot of stuff I've heard before, but I keep hitting "Play" over and over. That's usually a good sign. ;)
