This is a very short EP of minimalistic, raw blackened death metal, the kind that will make fans of more mainstream black and death metal recoil in horror... Well, I've heard worse in terms of brutality and insane cacophonic insanity, but Belial aren't that far behind. There's nothing particularly memorable here because that's not what this music is about. It's all about blasting your eardrums with filthy hatefulness and warlike chaos with zero attempt at sugarcoating any of it. This more extreme rendition of blackened death isn't for everyone, but Belial do it well. |
