Well this is some powerfully amateurish stuff. Deadmoon are a death metal band from Kentucky who play very generic stuff rather badly. Their drummer in particular cannot play worth a damn and his sucky rat-tat-tatting is the most annoying thing about this demo. Overall this might be simply dull were it not for the awful recording quality. I mean one expects rough production on demos, but this is simply laughable. It sounds like they recorded it in a broom closet with the microphone outside on the floor, and the result is music so muffled I cannot even tell if there are any good ideas here at all. My guess would be not. I also have to point out the amazingly abysmal cover art done in pencil and printed out on photo paper on the wrong side. Simply astounding. Into the crappy promo box with you! |
