Polish act Terrordome have been bashing out their brutal Crossover Thrash for years now, but their latest album puts them on another level. I had a lot of fun with their previous two albums, We'll Show You Mosh, Mitch! and Machete Justice, but it seems the addition of bassist Virious and drummer Rob Sixkiller has completely re-energized them. That's not to say they've changed their sound in the slightest, though, as this is more of the relentless Crossover Thrash that's similar to a less technical Vio-Lence mixed with the riffs, rhythms, and vocals of Power Trip, they just go at it with even more energy and rage than ever before. Don't let the short opener "Terrorizing the Nation as the Best Way to Thwart Shameful Schemes'' fool you, this is a fast and furious release without any dead spots that will leave you so breathless that the band may as well bundle some oxygen tanks with every purchase of Straight Outta Smogtown on their Bandcamp page (it'd certainly be fitting, considering the title). Addictive, furious, and fun above all else, this is a release you don't want to miss.
