Debut EP from this Italian band that combines Sabbathy, reverb-laden riffs and bluesy, occult rock vocals not far removed from Uriah Heep. The atmosphere is thick, like a leaden fog without being oppressive and a sure-fire hit for late night listening with the black lights on and one or more substances burning. The lyrics are in Italian so I can't speak for the subject matter, but I'm sure they deal with all manner of dark and mystical subjects. The songwriting is good but there aren't any true hooks that enabled me to single one song out among the rest. I still enjoyed it while it was on because it is simple doom and doesn't try to bring in any other influences, and being somewhat generic is forgivable. Check it out if the hazy days of '70s hard rock and early metal turn you on.
