Not much to say about this album other than it's typical second-wave black metal out of Norway, and that right there should give you a good idea of what to expect here. It's fast, blasting, savage black metal with demented vocals. It's not "hyper fast" and there are some slow to mid-paced moments, but what's omnipresent is a very effective dark and evil-sounding atmosphere that really takes centre stage. It's not really original, but it's very well done and, speaking for myself, when I'm in the right mood I can't get enough of this stuff. |
