This is a relatively new black/death duo (formed in 2020) that operates in the more chaotic realm of the genre, with this short EP being pretty much wall-to-wall sound from beginning to end, mostly fast paced and kind of raw and messy with vocals that are more on the black metal side of things. There's a maniacal cover of Morbid Angel's "Unholy Blasphemies" that closes off the hostilities, ending it all on a high note. Nothing here you haven't heard before if savage, raw, chaotic and messy black/death is your thing, but Tempter's Sacrament are good at it and hopefully they have a full-length in the oven. |
