Hooded Menace continue to be defiantly oblivious to trends or fads, and they just keep making good, solid albums of their signature Doom/Death and never seem to lose their touch. You get what this band always serves up, which is a blistering album of riff-oriented Death Metal with a Doom vibe and a lot of Trad-Metal sensibility in the riffs and leads. Hooded Menace aren't reinventing anything here, and if you have heard their previous works then you have heard what this one has to offer. It's not blazingly original, it's just solid. |
