This apparently used to be a Gothic band, but now they are plainly in the vein of Death/Black Metal, albeit with a lot of melody in the works and heavy use of keyboards for mood. This actually reminds me a lot of early-2000s stuff like the classic days of Limbonic Art or even Ceremonial Castings. The guitar sound is heavy, if a little overproduced, and the compositions have a lot of energy. There's not anything groundbreaking here, this is just a solidly enjoyable album. You won't remember anything about it once it's over, but you'll listen to the whole thing. |
