Let’s just get this out of the way: no, Kömmand have not changed in any noticeable way since their last album, and yes, I mean that in the best way possible. These raging bastards have always been about taking the old-school leather, spikes, and bullet belts approach of classics like Destruction and Celtic Frost while mixing in a more modern approach to that same formula akin to bands like Toxic Holocaust and Desaster, only now it’s more barbaric and unhinged than before. They may never be a great band, but they’re a relentlessly vicious and rocking thrash machine that probably kills at live shows, and they’re definitely the right kind of band to drink to in the wee hours of the morning while your neighbors suffer for it. Black/Thrash mania that’ll make your neck give out.
