Almost seven years ago I reviewed this band's debut, and now here we have the follow-up. This is kind of a one-man band, being pretty much Njord (of the underrated Slavecrushing Tyrant) and whoever he recruited to help him out. Like the debut, this is a pummeling, crushing workout in classic Death Metal, but this is better than the debut in pretty much every way. The songwriting has more variety, the production is heavier, and the riffs are far more dissonant. Overall, this reminds me of more technical stuff like Sulphur Aeon or Immolation while not being overly techy. This remains oriented toward that Swedish-style crunch-and-riff approach, and this time it has better songs to back it up, worthy.
