This is a recording of a livestream that took place in September 2020. Funny that I didn't hear about it—or I did but the day and time made it a "no watch." There are 19 songs here spanning nearly 106 minutes, so that's enough to keep you busy and the selection is pretty good, though with Behemoth's large discography there's no doubt some people will wish their favourites would have made the cut. The performance sounds quite powerful and even theatrical, which makes me wish I had the video part of this as I can only imagine what's going on based on the non-music sounds. As with most livestreams, there's no crowd (at least none I could hear), which makes it feel a little weird when Nergal shouts out to "the crowd." I quickly grew tired of livestreams, but that sounded weird in each and every one of them. Bottom line, this is a pretty cool show even without the real live feel and, in my case, having audio only. Note that apparently the Blu-ray disc requires a player that can play all regions, so keep that in mind before buying. |
