Rogga Johansson has, unbelievably, ramped up the number of bands he is a part of even more, as now he is listed as being a member of no less than 43 active bands, most of whom have put out albums in the last 2-3 years, so it's not like that is resume padding on his part. Johansson remains the most prolific musician in the metal scene by a long way, and yet his flagship band keeps soldiering on. This is the twelfth album under the Paganizer name, and I have to say that back when I heard Dead Unburied I would not have picked this as a band to make the long haul.

If you have heard any Paganizer in the last ever, then you know what you are getting here. This is another Paganizer album in the mold of classic Entombed or Dismember, and it differs only slightly from other albums. This one lands a bit more on the melodic end, not as feral as The Tower of the Morbid. Overall I like this better when it veers more into shaded melodies, because this time the guitar sound and the riffs are not fierce enough to carry things on heaviness alone. This doesn't really have enough substance to stick with you, but it's a good time while it's on.
