This is OK, I guess. Sign of Evil stick to the "Psychodelic" thing with this second album, so there must be some kind of inside joke there. It's relatively raw, old-school black/speed/thrash. Lots of bands are doing this now, some better than others, and Sign of Evil isn't amongst the best ones even though this is not horrible, just kind of all over the place and ultimately faceless. There's really nothing here that sticks once it's over, and even while it's on it's alright as background music, but I have yet to take notice of any part that makes me stand to attention. I hear some good ideas here; they're just not going anywhere and if you blink then the band is already on to something else. I can hear some potential, I don't know if Sign of Evil can get there, and quite honestly with so many bands playing the genre these days, I'm not sure I care to find out. Then again chances are I will. ;)
