Faüst are a relatively young band that have only been around since 2020, releasing a single EP and live album before getting to Tinnitus Inquisition. Can't say Czechia is a place you often associate with Crossover Thrash, but these lads prove to be damn good at it, with all the rockin', punky attitude and good, friendly violence you need to pull it off. Plenty of bands can do both but end up lacking anything substantive, but that's not a problem here, for each song contains sharp riffs and catchy melodies to cling onto as you knock the piss out of your friends in the mosh pit you'll all be forming as you play this. The real standout feature, however, is frontman Kryštof Eichler, who goes at it like Martin van Drunen if he got into punk, and he fits the band like a greased glove.

There's nothing here that hasn't been done before, but when your music is this consistently entertaining and contains Slayer/Whiplash-esque neck snappers like "Frontal Lobotomy", that's not so much a criticism as an observation. Damn fun.
