I really liked Necro Sapiens a couple of years ago, and Justitia is yet more proof that Baest know how to deliver top-notch old-school death metal. It’s just over 33 minutes, but they make good use of that short-ish length, delivering absolutely crushing, and sometimes melodic, death metal. Once again Baest present a damn good mix of slow and heavy, and faster and just as heavy death metal that just fucking rips. Abrasive guitar work will make you dust off the air guitar, the pounding drums will make you knock out anyone standing next to you, and the top-notch, mostly decipherable growls will even get you singing along at times. Blablabla, enough yapping; just get this if old-school, pounding death metal is your thing. |
