Weregoat are one of those insane-sounding black/death metal bands, and I was not surprised to read that Rok did the artwork for this EP. If you don’t know who Rok is, google him (adding "Sadistik Exekution" to the search might help). Hold on to your hat, his interviews in Slayer Magazine are a thing of legend. Anyway, back to The Devil’s Lust. This is very heavy, incisive blackened death metal that’s quite visceral and evil-sounding, with vocals that’ll scare the hell out of anyone in the vicinity (crank it up! —Actually, don’t. Don’t you hate it when some asshole is blasting rap garbage out of his car? No need for us honourable metalheads to behave like assholes.) This is pretty raw and heavy stuff that sounds like it’s straight out of the depths of hell (if there was such a thing) and it just spews fucking evil from beginning to end. Lots of headbanging moments that will send you straight to your chiropractor, but above all just pure, unpretentious blackened death insanity. This is the stuff.
