This is an adequate debut of highly melodic black metal. I like the more trad-metal riff approach rather than nonstop tremolo, but I do think a lot of the chord progressions are not unfriendly enough, and the whole thing sounds pretty derivative. This band is obviously very into classic Emperor and such like, and this is well played and decently recorded, but there's nothing that stands out about it.
