This is an album of dense, murky Black Metal that couldn't be more one-man DIY if it was recorded in a crypt by a guy who hasn't seen the sun in twenty years. The recording is uneven and the songwriting is sometimes experimental and drawn-out. The riffs are often repetitive, evoking a hypnotic atmosphere, and the crude nature of the whole thing is obviously part of the experience. If you like arcane, occult, relentlessly unfriendly Black Metal, then this is a good bet, because the grim, murderous atmosphere is off the charts on this one.
