Confines de la cordura is the second full-length album from this Spanish band called Cruz. They play some punishing death metal with a nice, fat guitar sound, a throaty howl and speed to spare. The lyrics I have are in Spanish so I can't be sure, but the creepy atmospheres they slide in at the beginning of the title track and the instrumental opener, "Ai margini della follia" certainly lines up with the Lovecraftian lyrical themes listed at Metal Archives. Most of the album is one slugfest of a track after another sure to leave you breathless and bruised. If you need some thrashy death metal with a bit of a creepy vibe, Confines de la cordura should fill that prescription.
