I was impressed by this band's debut a couple years back, and now I am glad to see them crushing their way down the same classic Death Metal track as before. The guitar sound is less Sunlight and the songwriting as a whole is more chaotic and sounds less derivative of the Swedish school. This is pure-strain USDM, with a little technicality, a lot of heaviness, and just a dash of continental melody. Sometimes I wish this was a bit more structured, and the mix is a bit of a mess, but for sheer pummeling viciousness this is the shit. |
