This band has been around since 2003 and only released four demos before this debut EP (long enough, at a little over 26 minutes, for some other bands to call that a full-length). I guess they were in no rush to unleash they speedy, old-school blackened thrash/death to unsuspecting ears. This is really fast and raw metal, crunchy and razor-sharp, and did I mention fast? I guess I did. There's nothing modern here, though I like their take on the old school, blending traditional heavy metal, first-wave black metal and death metal and adding a healthy dose of thrash. The screechy vocals are somewhat decipherable with some effort. An album that won't let you standing still. Lots of headbanging fun followed by a visit to your chiropractor. |
