Kind of a cross between The Gates of Slumber and Lair of the Minotaur, this EP is very short at just two songs, but I like it. You get primal, chunky riffs and rough bellowing vocals like LotM or Usurper, and there's a kick of old-school Sabbath in some of the riffs and definitely the leads. This does what an EP is supposed to do, which is get me interested in a full-length album from this band. |
