These guys really like their '80s heavy metal and they blend in some modern power metal as well. Church of the Scream (uh?) is chock-full of anthems and rockers, overloading with catchiness and the powerful soaring vocals are singalong-worthy. The production is modern and while there's a bit of a power metal vibe, it is really the classic bands like Judas Priest that act as foundation for ScreaMachine's sound. This is loud, fun music and those classic-style riffs and solos will throw you back 40 years. Not original, but when it's this fun, I don't care.
