The grinding vegans are back with Terrasite (see what they did there?) and there's no surprise here: solid death/grind, varied vocals (undecipherable to decipherable growls, some clean, as well as the chipmunky vocals again), and lots of speed and heaviness. There's nothing here I find bad, but it's largely unremarkable, with no one song really standing out. It's just there, for just over 52 minutes, and once it's over I can't say I remember anything other than the chipmunky vocals—not really what you want me to remember. ;) I've listened to it quite a bit and never got the urge to turn it off, but neither do I get the urge to go listen to it. Like the previous album, Death Atlas, this would probably benefit from being a little shorter.
