Debut album from this German band made up of guys who are also in a band called Graveyard Ghoul. This is a heavier, slower vibe than you usually get from German Death Metal, though it does have that slight experimental edge that reminds me of classic bands like Necrophagist or Atrocity in their old days. Thing is, when you play slower, your riffs have to be really first-rate, and these are pretty pedestrian. The recording is good and heavy, with a visceral sound, but the songwriting and riff writing are just average.
