These guys don't mess around. From the get-go, they go out full blast with fast, violent blackened death metal—and I can hear a bit of Deströyer666 in those guitars, just faster and more insane. It's raw and primitive, at times almost like a Hellhammer on a lot of steroids. The vocals are a raspy growl that's quite fitting and the vocalist sticks to the basics, so no bad surprises. I can't help but think of a variety of early black and death metal bands from the '80s while listening to this, but Destroyer Attack take that and crank it up to 11 and beyond. Well executed raw, face-smashing black/death is what this is. |
